Is Black Girls Connect Limiting Membership?
Yes. We accept a limited number of new members per city each month.
We personally review every applicant in order to keep communities intentional and aligned.
What do Black Girls Connect events look like?
A Spark is a unique experience like no other. You’ll gather with a small group of members to dive into fascinating, thought-provoking topics – the kinds of conversations we rarely make time for in everyday life. Each Spark is centered on a theme curated by Black Girls Connect. It’s an intentional space to step outside small talk and connect with people on a deeper level.
An Experience is designed to connect you through discovery, learning, and shared adventure. You might join a tasting, a party, a workshop, a wellness activity, a cultural tour, or even a volunteering opportunity – all set across your city. Each Experience is crafted to spark connection by inviting you to try something new, explore a skill, or discover a new part of your city. Experiences are a chance to step outside your normal routine, and connect with fellow members through experiences that inspire curiosity, growth, and fun.
