Puzzles & Playlists
Puzzles & Playlists is Black Girls Connect’s signature lakeside experience — equal parts throwback hangout and grown-up Sunday. This three-hour gathering pulls from the easy, feel-good energy of ‘back in the day’: beautiful puzzles to dig into with friends, a grazing table and dessert bar to graze all afternoon, and complimentary Prosecco to start the afternoon.
A live DJ keeps the playlist nostalgic and the mood light, no pressure to perform, just good music and good company. It’s low-key by design — a space to actually talk (if you feel like it), laugh, and be present, with the vibes doing the rest.

*From Renters to Owners*
An Introduction to Ownership, Equity & Wealth Building
Ownership changes everything and understanding how to get there is the first step.
From Renters to Owners is a guided conversation designed to demystify the path from renting to owning, while reframing homeownership as a tool for long-term wealth building. This experience blends education with real dialogue, creating space to explore what it truly means to build equity, leverage assets, and make informed financial decisions.
Come to learn.
Leave with a new lens.

About our Events and Salon Experiences
Our events are designed with purpose.
Each gathering, whether intimate or expansive, is an opportunity to connect, learn, and align in a way that feels both natural and elevated.
No filler. No forced interactions. Just the right women, in the right rooms, at the right time.
Spark Salons
Small Gatherings with Big Impact**
Sparks are our bite-sized meetups; laid-back sessions where good conversation and useful insight meet in the middle.
They’re perfect if you’ve been craving:
a place to make genuine connections,
conversations that don’t drain you,
or a little direction on your next money move or life decision.
Think cozy, thoughtful, and surprisingly energizing.
Signature Events
Real Connection, Real Value**
Our bigger events bring together women who want to enjoy themselves and walk away with something meaningful…new friendships, new opportunities, or a new plan for their money.
You don’t have to be loud or “on.”
You just have to be open to meeting good people and building something that matters.
“The missing piece was never the puzzle.
It was the people.”
